washington - The massally arrested corruption suspects in Saudi Arabia must get a fair trial. That said a spokeswoman from the US Department of Foreign Affairs, who expressed support for the actions of the Saudi authorities.
'We continue to encourage the Saudi authorities to prosecute those who think they are corrupt officials,' said the spokeswoman. 'But we expect them to do that in a fair and transparent way. ''
Earlier, President Donald Trump already responded positively to the arrests. He said he was confident in crown prince Mohammed bin Salman and his father. 'They know exactly what they're doing,' said Trump, adding that some people, 'who are being dealt with hardly land their country for years'.
