US: IS-commander really dead now

- days though there is speculation about his death. But the military commander of the Islamic State, Abu Omar al-Shishani, is still really deceased, say two US officials told CNN Monday.

Last week it was announced that 'Umar, the Chechen 'had become the victim of an American airstrike. He would have had a meeting during the attack with other top members of IS. Al-Shishani was not immediately slain, but was seriously injured. He was taken to the main base of IS in the town of Raqqa, where he was held with machines alive.

The al-Shishani coming from the Caucasus is known as the Minister of War of IS. He was considered the right hand of the military leader of IS, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
