US Consulate warns hotels Adana

adana - The US consulate in the Turkish city of Adana warned Monday that US hotels could be in the city targeted by terrorists. The consulate talked about ' a specific and credible threat of terrorist action '' and calls on Americans via the Internet caution.

Adana has more than 1.6 million inhabitants and is located 380 kilometers southeast of the capital Ankara. Near the city is the Incirlik air base used by NATO and especially by the US.
