US Congress agreement on budget

US Congress agreement on budget

World May 1, 2017 07:36

washington - The US Congress has agreed on the government budget of the United States. The agreement prevents government agencies from closing in early May. Without the agreement, the federal government should no longer spend money and should have closed the boutiques and send officials home, something that really happened in 2013.

The Democrats seemed to vote against the budget until President Trump demanded a few days ago that the funding of the wall between America and Mexico had to be included in the plans.

Congress members agree on government spending until 30 September. Then the current fiscal year ends.

The Senate and the House of Representatives still have to agree.
