US ask for help from NATO ISIS

brussels - The United States has asked NATO to help in the fight against terrorist organization Islamic State (ISIS) by AWACS radar planes to make available. This was said by Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg NATO Thursday.

" We received a US request to support the coalition with AWACS surveillance aircraft. That request we have now in treatment, " Stoltenberg said at a news conference.

AWACS planes monitor the airspace within a radius of 400 kilometers (250 miles) and exchange information using digital data links with the land, at sea and in the air.
