US Army base unwell after opening letter

washington - On a military base in Arlington, Virginia, eleven people became unwell after a letter was opened. Three people were taken to the hospital, the fire brigade and a spokeswoman told the base.

'Someone opened the letter and everyone at the office immediately felt bad,' said the spokesperson. Employees in the building immediately took measures and the building was evacuated. It was an envelope with an unknown substance in it.

The condition of the three people who have been taken to the hospital is stable according to the fire department.
