havana - The urn with the ashes of Fidel Castro begins Wednesday in Havana on a journey along some Cuban cities to about 900 kilometers away Santiago de Cuba. There, buried the deceased former leader of Cuba Sunday.
Castro died Friday at the age of 90. Many thousands of Cubans Monday took part in a memorial ceremony at the Revolution Square with the monument of national hero José Martí. In long lines of people walked past a huge picture of the young Fidel in fatigues.
Castro came in 1959 after a revolution in power and reigned 47 years over the land. He resigned in 2006 from politics.
