brussels - Belgian television viewers have to do it from Wednesday without teletext. The number of users in recent years took a sharp dive, reason for the Flemish Radio and Television Organization (VRT) in order to quit after more than 35 years.

Belgian commercial broadcaster VTM already stopped late 2014 offering teletext, following the BBC. Teletext can still count on popularity in the Netherlands.
