geneva - The Syrian government has deliberately in Aleppo in September let bombard an aid convoy which certainly killed fourteen workers. That's one of the conclusions of a group of researchers from the United Nations in a report on war crimes during the siege and recapture of the city of Aleppo. All warring parties were guilty of war crimes, according to the UN.

Between July and the recapture of the city on December 22 last year there were daily air raids on rebel-controlled parts of Aleppo. Therefore, hundreds of civilians and hospitals were destroyed, as well as schools, orphanages and homes.

Rebels shelled in turn by the Syrian army controlled area with many deaths among civilians as a result. In addition, they used the inhabitants of the east of the city as human shields, that they committed a war crime.
