Food is dropped from a great height are possible in four areas, including Foua and Kufreya, where about 20 000 people are trapped. The other fifteen areas are urban or semi-urban areas where droppings helicopters are the only option, said a statement from WFP.
The UN has already supplies dropped from a great height to 110 000 people by the Islamic State siege Deir al-Zor. But such droppings are,, a last resort '' because they are expensive and complicated.
