abuja - The humanitarian affairs coordinator of the UN in Nigeria, Fatma Samoura, thinks possible seven thousand girls and women are held captive by Islamist terrorists. Amnesty International is based on at least two thousand victims.

They are married or kept as sex slaves. The abducted women are also used to transport weapons and even forced to commit suicide attacks.

The main terrorist in the area, Boko Haram, it looks like a religious duty to subject other faiths. Their internationally notorious action was the attack on a school in Chibok in northeastern Nigeria, which were dragged more than two hundred girls from the dormitory and taken.

Few hostages manage to escape. Fifteen-year-old Aisha Moussa is a happy exception. She fell in February 2015 with other young Christian lotgenotes in the hands of Boko Haram.,, I was buried up to my waist. They wanted me to force me to convert to Islam, '' she says in a refugee camp in Minawao. After three weeks of torment she gave up her resistance. They abjured Christianity and married a fundamentalist in their thirties.

,, Many other girls met the same fate. Some were only eight years old. '' During the day they were employed at the base of Boko Haram.,, What we feared the most, was the return of our men in the evening. That meant abuse and rape under threat of a gun, '' Moussa said with tears in his eyes.

After months of captivity she managed overnight escape from the attention and flee. She walked ten days through the forest on the border with Cameroon, where she was captured by army units. Which took her to a refugee camp, where she still is not trusted as a possible 'Boko Haram-spy.,, I am treated as if I have a contagious disease. When everyone I come in, turns around. Still, I'm glad that I'm here. ''
