'Ukraine bought talk with Trump'

washington - Representatives of Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko have paid the personal advocate of US President Donald Trump large sums of money to establish a conversation between the two at the White House. According to Ukrainian sources, lawyer Michael Cohen was converted between 340,000 and 510,000 euros to arrange this.

This was reported by the BBC on Wednesday on the basis of two sources that were not mentioned specifically. Cohen was not registered as a representative of Ukraine, which in this case is required under US law.

Poroshenko wanted more than a 'photo opportunity' with handshaking with the American head of state. Eventually he got his talk with Trump in June. After the return of Poroshenko in Ukraine, the anti-corruption agency in that country stopped the investigation into the former campaign manager Paul Manafort. In the US, a judicial investigation is ongoing into the corridors of Cohen.
