london - Attempts to make tablets and smartphones running failed on the Ubuntu operating system. The company behind it, Canonical, stop trying to wear out the variant of Linux.
Canonical Ubuntu is going to now focus on the cloud and the Internet of Things.
Canonical was founded by the British South African Mark Shuttleworth. He writes on the website of the company that he was mistaken about the opportunities for Ubuntu. The industry prefers the systems that people know, then switching to new systems, even if they are better, says Shuttleworth. '' What has delivered our team, is beautiful, usable and sturdy, but I respect the market and the community ultimately decide which products to grow and disappear. ''
