Uber comes with sick rides

san francisco - Taxi app Uber has created a new service: Uber Health. This allows doctors to reserve rides for patients who do not have their own transport. According to Uber, there are more than 3.6 million Americans every year who do not show up at doctor's appointments because they can not travel there.

Doctors can reserve a trip with Uber Health up to 30 days in advance. When making a follow-up appointment, this can already be arranged in the hospital. The passenger does not need to have a smartphone, because the ride details can be sent and can even be transferred to a landline.

According to Uber, there are already more than a hundred clinics, organizations and rehabilitation centers in the United States that use Uber Health.
