parkland - Sympathizers have already raised 140,000 dollars (almost 113,000 euros) for a boy who caught five bullets during the Parkland massacre. Fifteen-year-old Anthony Borges is praised as a hero, reports American media.

Borges was injured while trying to find a safe haven with his fellow students. He was the last of the approximately twenty young people who entered a room. The shooter hit the teenager several times as he tried to lock the door. The other students in the room remained unharmed.

The injured teenager was hospitalized by the local sheriff, who held his hand. The policeman considered it an 'honor' to meet Borges, the police wrote on Twitter. Other people were also impressed: in three days time 5384 people made money to pay for their treatment.
