Two killed in fire in Mannheim

- In a fire in the German city of Mannheim on Friday asked a mother and her son died. The father was seriously injured and a police officer had to be treated in hospital because of smoke inhalation, said a police spokesman.

The fire started because a car by unknown reason caught fire in the carport under the house. The father was injured when he jumped on the second floor of a window. For the mother and son the help came too late.
