san francisco - Twitter users can now easily ignore other accounts. The social media has introduced a number of new filters, giving twitterers more control over their own notifications, so Twitter announced today.

A user can, for example, filter accounts that are just new or users who do not follow him or her. Earlier it was also possible to ignore accounts that have a standard profile picture.
