brussels - EU president Donald Tusk is not traveling to Israel this week. He has canceled due to the crucial phase in which the talks about the British departure from the European Union are located.

Tusk would meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem on Tuesday evening. A day later he would meet Ramallah with Palestinian Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah. His speech in Jerusalem at the Friends of Zion Museum, which awarded him a prize, is also canceled.

May lunch on Monday in Brussels with European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker and EU negotiator Michel Barnier. Later in the afternoon a conversation between Tusk and May was inserted.
