Turkish premiere play Dinner canceled

amsterdam - The Turkish premiere of the play The Dinner (Akşam yemeği) Kees Prins on the book by Herman Koch, has been canceled. The show was held April 21 in Istanbul.

Diederik Hummelinck out there on Sunday informed the company sold the rights to Istanbul Semaver Kumpanya. The reason given is that to bring out the company in the 'present unfortunate circumstances' do not dare a Dutch piece.

In an email to Hummelinck allows an employee of the company to find it still a great script and that the premier might be planning in October. 'Not just a theater but also for a country's all very unclear,' the mail.
