Turkish opposition to EU Human Rights Court

ankara - The main Turkish opposition party joins the European Court of Human Rights because of the course of the referendum in Turkey of 16 April. The party CHP does that after the supreme governing court in Turkey on Tuesday refused to consider the matter.

The party wants to declare the outcome of the referendum invalid due to irregularities. In particular, the decision of the national electoral commission to allow unposted ballot papers has put an end to the blood of the party. President Erdogan's yes camp won the referendum, giving the president much more power in the future.
