ankara - The Turkish electoral council has violated the law by accepting unsupported ballot papers. That sets the Turkish professional association of lawyers, TBB, in response to the outcome of Sunday's referendum in Turkey. A very tight majority chose a great expansion of the power of the Turkish president.

The lawyers speak in a statement on an 'illegal act. 'Employees of elections offices were' deceived ', so they thought it was appropriate to nevertheless approve uncancelled notes. 'The announcement of the electoral council, which was clearly against the law, led to irregularities,' concluded the lawyer.

Sadi Güven, head of the Turkish constituency, explained at a press conference on Sunday why it was decided to approve the ballot papers without official stamp. According to Güven, following a large number of complaints, including one of the ruling AK parties, staff voting staff failed.
