Turkish coup as pigs in barn
- Alleged couppplegers commissioned by the Turkish President Recep Erdogan were arrested after the failed coup in the country, sit like pigs in a sty. Several foreign media have published shocking photographs of handcuffed, half-naked soldiers who firmly put under harsh conditions.
Among others, the German newspaper Bild has posted a picture of the arrested soldiers are stacked under inhumane conditions together in a gymnasium. Twitter circulated a similar photo of men wearing only their underpants, side by side sit in a kind of barn, their hands shackled to their backs.
Erdogan after the failed coup began a purge of the Turkish army and the police. The Turkish authorities have some 3000 alleged coup plotters, ranging from commanders to ordinary soldiers. Was arrested about the same number of judges and prosecutors.
