ankara - Turkey has given over 1800 civil servants rehabilitation. It concerns people who lost their jobs after the failed coup d'état of 2016. The authorities have now established that the employees in question have no connection with the movement of the spiritual Fethullah Gülen, reports the state press agency Anadolu.

The Turkish government reported that 1823 people get their government jobs back without explaining why. Anadolu reported that it was established that they were not members of Gülen's network and had no ties with it. Turkey holds the organization of the clergy responsible for the coup attempt. He denies that.

The authorities arrested more than 50,000 people because of the coup attempt. Another 150,000 people lost their jobs or were suspended. This includes people who used the forbidden chat app ByLock. Followers of Gülen worked according to the authorities of that program.

Prosecutors promised to review the cases of more than 11,000 ByLock suspects last year. It turned out that some people accidentally used the app.
