ankara - Turkey has ordered the Israeli ambassador to 'go back' for a while to his homeland. That's what sources at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ankara said on Tuesday. The measure is a response to the death of sixty Palestinians through the hands of Israeli soldiers during demonstrations at the border in the Gaza Strip.
Turkey, which Monday loudly criticized the Israeli violence in Gaza and the opening of the US embassy in Jerusalem, also urged an early meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. Ankara also calls back his ambassadors from Washington and Tel Aviv for consultation.
