Turkey seizes 'Gülen agents'

ankara - Turkey arrested 803 people on suspicion of involvement in the failed coup last year.

The action focused mainly on the Turkish police and most arrested police officers. An arrest warrant was issued against some thousand alleged followers of the movement of Islamic spiritual Fethullah Gülen.

Turkey sees the Gülen residing in the United States as the brain behind the coup attempt in July 2016. Ankara wants the US to send Gülen to Turkey.
