Turkey has more than 3.5 million refugees

ankara - Turkey now live more than 3.5 million refugees. The Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said Wednesday that his country has taken so far 3,551,078 people. That's more than three times as much as all the countries of the European Union together. Most of them, 2.9 million people are refugees from Syria. There are also many refugees from Iraq crossed the border into Turkey.

The country has about 75 million inhabitants and has spent on the reception of refugees about $ 25 billion (23.6 billion euros). Of the total refugee lives about 10 per cent in camps.

Turkey has claimed Soylu a blacklist of 52 075 foreign extremists from 145 countries that are not in the country and 4369 people have been expelled from nearly one hundred countries. The country that more than 1,400 kilometer border with Syria and Iraq, has previously been accused of doing too little to the comings and goings of jihadists.
