Turkey continues to bombard PKK positions

- The Turkish army has for the sixth consecutive day air strikes on Kurdish separatist PKK. The army bombarded the night of Monday to Tuesday again PKK positions in the southeastern province of Hakkari, the Turkish state news agency Anadolu reported.
That province, where many towns and villages PKK fighters have entrenched the last few days was also the scene of bombings. The Turkish army bombarded when moreover PKK camps in northern Iraq.
In battles with fighters of the Kurdistan Workers Party, the PKK as full name, Tuesday in Hakkari killed one Turkish soldier and hit another injured.
