- Thousands of protesters Saturday in Spain took to the streets to demonstrate against the free trade TTIP and CETA. TTIP is the European Union's free trade agreement with the United States, CETA is an agreement between the European Union and Canada.

The organization estimates that in Madrid around 20 000 people in the leg were a protest march with the demonstrators marched to the Plaza de Cibeles, a square in the center of town. Barcelona opponents were nearly 1.5 kilometers to a trip on the Paseo de Gracia, one of the main streets of the city.

TTIP and CETA will include the leveling of differences in legislation and standards between the US, Canada and the EU. That would make trading simpler, Opponents of free trade believe that such an agreement will lead to more poverty and inequality.
