Trump wants Russia again at G7

washington - The American president Donald Trump believes that Russia should again participate in the top of the G7. He stated that just before he boarded the plane that would take him to Canada.

From 1998 onwards, Russia sometimes participated in the meetings that then went through as G8. Moscow is no longer welcome since 2014 because of the annexation of the Crimea.

The Kremlin, however, is not eager to join again. In a response to Trump's remark, Moscow said that it was 'focused on a different format'.
