'Trump this year to London'

london - The long-awaited visit by US President Donald Trump to Britain is likely to take place this year. That stated the office of the British Prime Minister Theresa May after a conversation that the two statesmen had during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

Trump canceled his working visit to London last month, presumably because of threatening mass protests. May was the first European leader to visit Trump after joining in January last year. An official state visit had been hanging over the market for some time, but it still did not happen.

May and Trump discussed details of a visit this year. Whether that is a working visit or an official state visit, including a visit to Queen Elizabeth, is not clear.
