Trump tests US NL-Alert

washington - Almost all Americans will receive a text message from President Donald Trump next Thursday. It is the first test for a new system, a kind of NL-Alert, which in the event of a disaster all Americans can be quickly warned.

The trial warning is called a Presidential Alert. The message says Thursday that it is a test and that people do not have to do anything. All mobile providers in the United States are participating in the trial. This means that almost all citizens receive the message. Unsubscribe is not possible.

The warning system is called Wireless Emergency Alerts. It was set up under the previous president, Barack Obama. The system can only be used in the event of a disaster or a terrorist attack.
