los angeles - A woman who had accused the forthcoming presidential Donald Trump sexual harassment, starts a lawsuit against him for defamation. Summer Zervos on Tuesday filed a lawsuit in New York because Trump claimed made her false and offensive statements when he spoke against the accusations, says her lawyer.

A few weeks before the presidential election last year, said Zervos, who participated in the 2007 reality show The Apprentice, Trump had assaulted her. He would have kissed her without being asked. At a later appointment for a job he would have done it again and he would have caught her in a chest. Trump denied the allegations and Zervos called a liar.

Several women accused Trump last year of sexual harassment after a video surfaced in which he had made sexual comments about women. Zervos is the first to bring proceedings.

'Mr. Trump's false and defamatory statement that Ms. Zervos would have made up the story about his misbehavior so they can be famous, has been very damaging to her reputation, honor and dignity,' said her lawyer. For the damage she says Trump now liable.

Zervos said Tuesday in announcing the indictment that she wants the forthcoming presidential apology. 'Because he did not, as I had asked recant his statements, he leaves me no alternative but to sue him in order to protect my reputation,' she said.
