'Trump scores his 2000th lie'

washington - With ten more days to go until his first year as president, Donald Trump has given his 2000th misleading remark or false statement. He did exactly 355 days.

The Washington Post has kept the misleading statements of the American leader in a database for almost a year. Wednesday was the day and under the heading 'Fact Checker' the 2000th was almost festively presented. The newspaper has calculated that Trump made 5.6 false claims every day of his presidency.

The president got a little slow, according to the newspaper. For the first hundred days of his government, he did not go beyond 4.9 non-awaiting claims a day and it seemed that he would not reach the 2000 in his first year. But, writes The Washington Post, after that Trump put the speed into it. Anything that was not right, was heavily exaggerated, was downright lying down and was considered dubious and was stored securely by the magazine.

The favorites of the newspaper include: everything about building the wall on the border with Mexico and the visa lottery for people who want to enter the US. Trump, incidentally, has been disapproving about The Washington Post since he took office.
