Trump: names after settlement after sexual misconduct

World November 21, 2017 22:18

washington - President Donald Trump wants parliamentarians who have committed sexual harassment and a settlement with their victims to become known. He called Congress Tuesday to name names of people who have bought off their misconduct.

'I think they should just reveal the details of those schemes,' Trump said. The Democratic representative John Conyers (88) confessed to a deal after a complaint about sexual harassment. He rejected the accusation but said his staff had taken action to prevent a 'lengthy lawsuit. '

Trump stood squarely behind party colleague Roy Moore. The Republican Senate candidate for Alabama is under heavy fire because of indecent behavior towards women, including teenagers. He denies the allegations.

Trump also held telephone consultations with his Russian colleague Vladimir Putin on Tuesday. The two talked for an hour about cooperation in the fight against terror organizations such as IS, the peace process in Syria under the auspices of the United Nations, possible solutions to the tense situation in Ukraine and the pressure on North Korea to end the nuclear Kim Jong-un program.
