washington - US President Donald Trump and British Prime Minister Theresa May held telephone discussions on the Middle East peace process on Tuesday. The White House said that they have talked about measures that could lead to peace in the area.

In the short statement there was nothing about the recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel by Trump. Well about the situation in Yemen. 'Both leaders have emphasized how urgent it is to tackle the humanitarian crisis in Yemen'. Trump also congratulated May with the decision of EU leaders to enter the second phase of the Brexit negotiations.

A spokesperson for May said that British head of government has made it clear to think differently about the status of Jerusalem and that it attaches great importance to a bilateral trade agreement with the US after the brexit.
