brussels - A Belgian train Thursday night has traveled twelve kilometers without a driver. During an inspection in the town of Countries entered the train is just off.

The empty passenger train was heading to Leuven when the driver noticed that something was wrong, Belgian media report. When he got out at the station in Country to take a look, the train drove off without him.

Immediately the driver warned his colleagues. Rail traffic was halted and all signals to slowly stove income trains were put on green.
