The CRT attributes the decline to the terrorist attacks and strikes last year.
Especially the Japanese let fail. The number of Japanese that back was reserved a hotel room in Paris by nearly half. Also, Italians and Russians, who usually visit in droves the French capital, stay away. The noose for the tourism sector amounted, according to the CRT a sloppy 750 million.
