TNO started at Chinese Harbor

The research and consulting firm signed a contract with Chinese authorities on Thursday.

The aim of the project is, according to TNO, to contribute to the growth of the economy by, among other things, more effective dealing with raw materials.

Dayawan Port is a relatively heavy petrochemical industry. TNO is concerned with the question of how industry can grow in a 'rapidly developing' port, reducing, among other things, the emission of harmful substances.

In particular, it is looked at how one industry can benefit from, for example, residual flows from another.

Financial details of the proposed 'long-term agreement' were not reported on Thursday.
