Tiger population grows

- The number of tigers living in the wild, the last six years has grown by about a fifth. There currently are approximately 3890 of these big cats in the world. That's what the World Wildlife Fund and the Global Tiger Forum announced Sunday.
The two bodies organize a meeting on these large predatory cats that Tuesday in the Indian city New Delhi begins. The first time a special tiger conference was held in 2010. At that time, were set a target that by 2022 about 6400 tigers must roam in the wild.
