Thousands of Filipinos homeless by fires

- Thousands of people during the New Year's Eve lost their homes by fires in the Philippine capital Manila. A fire in the district of Tondo, caused by fireworks, destroyed thousands of homes alone, reported the fire.
A man came into the country killed and 130 people were injured, most by fireworks or shots were fired during the festivities.
