washington - The United States braces itself for another cold wave. The American weather services have predicted an icy weekend with dangerously low temperatures up to-29 degrees. Ice-cold air from the North Pole then enters the country.

The states on the east coast have been suffering for days under extreme winter weather with lots of snow and temperatures far below zero.

According to meteorologists, chances are that the existing weather records will be broken. Due to the combination of low temperatures, the sensation temperature in some places such as Mount Washington can drop to-67 degrees.
