The thickest man in the world wants to live up to his biggest dream

- The 33-year-old Mexican Juan Pedro Franco who is officially known as the thickest man in the world, is busy losing weight. In October 2016 he weighed 595 kilos, now he has already lost 250 kilos. He puts everything to make his big dream come true: to be able to walk normally again.

Meanwhile, Juan Pedro Franco already manages to take a few steps with a walking frame, but he wants to be able to walk without tools. And for that he will have to lose some kilos.

During the weigh-in by Guinness World Records in 2016, the man was still confined to the bed. He had diabetes, high blood pressure and problems with his lungs. Juan Pedro also had a disorder of his thyroid gland.
