Thatcher and Hawking candidate for 'fifty'

london - Margaret Thatcher and Stephen Hawking are the two best-known candidates to be portrayed on the newly released £ 50 British banknote.
According to The Bank of England, eight hundred people are on the shortlist. The condition for nomination is that it must be a person from science. In total, the bank received over 174,000 nominations from the public.
