Thai Tourist Office wants to promote cave for tourism

bangkok - The Thai Tourism Bureau (TAT) wants to develop the cave where twelve young footballers and their coach are stuck, to become a tourist attraction. TAT director Karuna Dechatiwong told the Bangkok Post newspaper that she is going to talk with regional administrators and the business community about the possibilities to promote the cave among tourists.

'After the rescue team found the twelve young footballers and their coach on Monday night, the cave has attracted the attention of domestic and foreign travelers,' Karuna said. She said that it is thought to plot a route to the cave and other interesting destinations in Chiang Rai province in the north of Thailand.
