Ten years for Belgian Muslim preacher

brussels - A Belgian Muslim preacher has to ten years in jail. Jean-Louis Denis is considered the head of a terrorist cell who recruited several young Muslims in 2013 to go to Syria to fight.

Denis, a radicalized from Brussels, is an adherent of Salafism. He also told those who do not share his ideology, they will fight.

The Muslim preacher was not the only one who stood trial Friday and heard the verdict of the court in Brussels. Eleven other defendants were given prison sentences of five to fifteen years. Most were sentenced in absentia.

Acquittal was there for the wife of a Muslim preacher.
