new york - Apple, Microsoft, Amazon and Cisco have rallied behind Google in the legal battle between the company and the FBI. Recently, a judge ruled in the US state of Pennsylvania that Google outside America stored data must hand over to the FBI, but the tech giants absolutely disagree, Business Insider writes.

Google and other tech giants believe that the US investigation agencies should have exclusive access to data stored in the US. If that is not possible, this provides the considerable damage of companies that, for example, in Europe as possible. Furthermore, they want to ensure that they will soon have to hand over data to US investigators in other countries.

It is not clear what the FBI's data request, the case is exactly. What Google might still work in the advantage is that Microsoft has recently been using a similar case and won. Microsoft was releasing the application data that was on an Irish server. The company refused and the judge gave Microsoft the same.
