Teacher punishes student, father slaps teacher

antwerp - A 50-year-old man from Antwerp will have to stand trial in court for the ticks he handed to the 53-year-old kindergarten teacher of his child.

The man had become angry because his child had been punished by the teacher. Thursday afternoon it came to a confrontation where the man hit the teacher in the face. He suffered injuries, reports Het Nieuwsblad.

Later the father reported to the police. The investigating judge decided that he should be arrested. He is suspected of inflicting 'heavy intentional strokes and injuries to pedagogical personnel'.
