lopburi - A 72-year-old Japanese mafia boss, who had been on the run for the police for more than 14 years, was arrested in Thailand on Wednesday after pictures of the tattooed man were put on social media.

Many Thai found the tattoos of the man- who misses a little finger- so interesting that they took pictures of him and put them on the internet. They were then massively shared. For the police it was therefore a breeze to localize the Mafia boss. Shigeharu Shirai was arrested by an arrest team while he was shopping in Lopburi, a sleepy town in the middle of Thailand.
