Taliban kill woman extramarital sex

kabul - The Taliban in the central Afghan province of Ghor killed a woman because she had extramarital sex. That said a spokesman for the governor of the province Monday. It was not known if the woman married. Her partner is still awaiting his punishment.

The provincial government can do nothing, the spokesman said. The area where the incident took place has been more than a year in the hands of the Taliban.

In November, the Taliban stoned a nineteen-year-old woman for extramarital sex. In February 2013, a couple that was married flogged in public.
