Tablet Jolla fate uncertain

- People were waiting for a tablet with a new operating system, will have to wait longer than planned. The tablet manufacturer Jolla, which the Sailfish OS own state, can not possibly be provided by financial problems at the manufacturer.

The Jolla Tablet was announced in late 2014, but the launch was postponed several times. Meanwhile, a number of people who have purchased the device, receive their copy, but people who have had it yet, should start worrying. This was reported by the Finnish broadcaster Yle. The tablet could be ordered in 2014 as part of a crowdfunding campaign that would raise Jolla money for the production of the tablet. It does not seem to have been enough : Yle also reports than half of the hundred employees on leave was sent to cut costs.
